My Poem

The way your feeling isn't new? You've felt like it your entire life.
Out of place, like your meant for something more than this. A star burning bright but forced to hide your sparkle. You had a taste and didn't realise there was no going back. It gets into your soul and eats away at your entire being. You only feel alive when your being controlled, even when you think your pulling the strings. It's a innate need to please and obey. To be wanted and needed. You seek it out, never quite understanding why you need to feel submissive . Never thinking your good enough,you strive for perfection in all you do. You are descended from greatness and deserve the world to be laid at your feet, stop self destructing and start believing in your self. You have a voice as loud as a lion and as beautiful as an angels so if there's something you need to say. Scream it from the roof tops, shout it from the highest mountains . I know your scared but if your too busy aiming for the stars you will miss out on the beauty of the moon. Maybe there's a reason you can't get her out of your head. If your honest you know the answers so look deep inside and ask yourself the one question you have been hiding from. Ask for a sign, close your eyes and listen to your soul, listen to the rain and the wind. Bask in the moons light and beauty and just remember that's the same light and wind that your ancestors would've felt so just ask for there guidance and follow your heart.
